OkinawaOkinawa's coffee culture has grown its own way, in Naha's Sakaemachi market and the former foreign-housing district of Minatogawa. This is also the one place in Japan where farms are growing domestic coffee.
Drink from a yachimun cup, or pair a dark roast with Okinawan zenzai — the island sets its own tempo. A cup with the sea in view is the best luxury of all.
